My story

Hello I am Lynne, my story through life is long but I will make it short.

I am a wife to a lovely husband, owner of a very mischievous puggle dog called Amber and Mum to a challenging teenager.

My previous employment has ranged from working for National Westminster Bank, a barmaid, owner of a café, working at a bullion merchants and 20 years working as cabin crew for British Airways, on long haul. My career ended with British Airways due to my son being very ill and me needing to be at home with him.

I now work full time in the public sector, run a home, am part of a lovely family and also run my bamboo business.

My interest in Bamboo came about when I attended a workshop for menopausal women and the challenges we face. One of those challenges being hot flushes ! It was recommended we try bamboo bedding and sleepwear. This is where my curiosity began with this amazing plant.

Bamboo is highly sustainable, naturally pest resistant therefore needs no pesticides and because of the speed it grows, even after harvesting, needs no fertilisers. It is also thermoregulating.

Bamboo is eco friendly. It requires no chemicals and very little water to grow. It also absorbs more carbon dioxide from the air than either cotton or timber and releases more oxygen into the environment, which in turn produces better air quality.

Bamboo is 100% natural and biodegradable. Once bamboo products are at the end of their life they can be returned to the earth leaving minimal environmental impact.

After lots of research and sourcing products I now have four amazing products with more in the pipeline.

I believe we can all make a difference to the planet by making changes, however small. I am proud to be doing my bit for the environment.
